Brush Valley Township

No injuries were reported in a rear-end collision at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday on Route 56 west of Old Home Manor Road.

State police at Indiana said Aaron Wozniak, 22, of Johnstown, was slowing for stopped vehicles in the eastbound lane when his vehicle was hit from behind by a car driven by Charles Hropovich, 19, of Seward.

Green Township

State police at Indiana said two people were hurt in a rear-end collision at 7:58 p.m. Wednesday on Route 403 south of Barr Slope Road.

Police said a vehicle traveling ahead of Stephanie Coughanour, 28, of Marion Center, stopped for an animal on the road. Coughanour’s car was hit from behind by a car driven by Karen Beatty, 63, of Home.

Police said Coughanour and an 8-year-old male passenger in Beatty’s car suffered minor injuries in the collision.

Volunteer firefighters from Commodore assisted police at the crash scene.
