Two people were hospitalized after a vehicle ran off Main Street and hit a parked car at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday.

State police reported that the driver, Henry Howell, of Indiana, and passenger Cheryl Deitman, of Creekside, were sent by medical helicopter to Forbes Regional Medical Center in Monroeville for treatment of injuries.

Hospital officials did not return a call requesting information on their conditions this morning.

White Township

State police reported that a car driven by Nathan Adamson, of Homer City, hit several shrubs and a car parked in a driveway on Jackson Street near Windsor Street at 1:25 a.m. today.

No one was reported to be injured.

Canoe Township

A car driven by Derek Brooks, of Punxsutawney, slid on ice on Buffalo Lodge Road at 1 p.m. Tuesday, hit a road sign and a utility pole guy wire and rolled over, state police reported.

The Rossiter fire department assisted police at the scene of the crash near Wehrle Drive. No injuries were reported.

Bell Township, Jefferson County

Troopers said icy conditions led to an accident at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday on Robertsville Road near Rusty Coat Lane.

A car driven by Amanda Ferko, of Punxsutawney, slid off the road, went over an embankment and hit two trees, according to troopers at Punxsutawney.

No one was said to be injured.
