YOUNG TOWNSHIP, JEFFERSON COUNTY

State police reported vehicles driven by Kerry Harvey, of New Salem, and Regina Zinzella, of Rossiter, collided at 1 p.m. Tuesday on Route 119 at Alliance Drive.

Troopers at Punxsutawney reported Harvey was unable to see a red |traffic signal because the light was covered with snow.

No one was reported to be injured.

SALEM TOWNSHIP, WESTMORELAND COUNTY

A car driven by Brandon Barton, of Saltsburg, traveled off Route 819, then hit a concrete footer and a snow bank, state police reported.

Troopers at Kiski Valley said no one was injured.

OLIVER TOWNSHIP, JEFFERSON COUNTY

Cars driven by Edelyne Henrice, 45, and Susan Lefcowicz, 60, both of Punxsutawney, collided at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday on Route 36 about one-half mile south of Hoffman Hollow Road, according to state police at Punxsutawney.

Troopers reported both drivers and a passenger in Lefcowicz’s vehicle, Robert Kountz, 62, of Punxsutawney, were transported to Punxsutawney Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
