YOUNG TOWNSHIP, JEFFERSON COUNTY

A vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Rossiter boy went off Snyder Hill Road and struck a drainage culvert, causing it to roll down an embankment on Saturday afternoon, according to state police in Punxsutawney. Police said the boy, who was not identified, was wearing a seat belt. He suffered a minor injury and was taken to Punxsutawney Area Hospital for evaluation, police said.

 

FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP, WESTMORELAND COUNTY

Shawn M. Baird, 20, of Bolivar, lost control of his vehicle around 12:30 a.m. March 8 on Yeager Hollow Road and struck a parked vehicle, according to state police in Greensburg. Baird was not injured, police said.
