EAST MAHONING TOWNSHIP

One person was hurt in a one-vehicle crash at 3:45 a.m. Saturday on Deckers Point Road east of Pfeiffer Road.

State police at Indiana said a pickup truck driven by Michael Granat, 24, of Blairsville, ran off a curve in the road and hit a mailbox, a natural gas line marker and a utility pole.

Granat was not hurt but a passenger, Tasha Mock, 29, of Clymer, had a minor injury, according to police.

Mock was treated and released from Indiana Regional Medical Center, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

 

BRUSH VALLEY TOWNSHIP

Rebecca L. Columbus, 20, of Indiana, was not injured when her vehicle struck an embankment and rolled over on Old Mission Road Sunday morning, according to state police in Indiana.

Police said Columbus lost control of her vehicle around 6:38 a.m. after braking to avoid a deer. A passenger, Clinton J. Columbus, 22, of Indiana, was not hurt, police said.
