Blaze heavily damages Brush Valley Township home

The first alarm was sounded at 11:13 p.m. Saturday.

The Brush Valley, Coral-Graceton, Homer City, Armagh & East Wheatfield, Clyde, Black Lick, Clymer, Blairsville, Bolivar, Seward and Vintondale fire departments were dispatched to the scene while Marion Center, Bolivar and New Alexandria firefighters were placed on standby.

Firefighters remained at the scene past 2 a.m. working to halt the blaze.
