CONEMAUGH TOWNSHIP — An early morning fire destroyed a mobile home along Quick Road.

No one was injured in the fire at 952 Quick Road, according to Tunnelton-Conemaugh Township fire Chief Rick Bouch.

Bouch said no one was home at the time as the family that lives there is on an out-of-state vacation.

The fire was reported around 4:26 a.m. by a neighbor who spotted the flames and called for help.

In addition to Bouch’s department, firefighters from Blairsville and Saltsburg responded. Bouch said the home was already engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.

They remained at the scene for roughly 2 1/2 hours.

A cause has not been determined.

A state police fire marshal is investigating, Bouch said.
