Firefighters free driver in accident

Indiana firefighters and borough police responded to this two-vehicle accident late Thursday morning at North Ninth and Oak streets in Indiana. The accident was reported at 11:43 a.m. According to Indiana fire Chief Chuck Kelly, it appears the accident occurred when one of the drivers ran a stop sign on Oak Street. Firefighters had to free one of the drivers from her vehicle. She was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment, Kelly said.
