HOMER CITY DISTRICT COURT DOCKET

Numerous defendants have been named on criminal charges filed in the Homer City district court before Magisterial District Judge Susanne Steffee.

Criminal complaints and affidavits of probable cause are not evidence of guilt in a criminal case. Defendants are entitled to legal representation and have the right to question the witnesses and evidence presented against them during preliminary hearings in the district court and at trials in the county court of common pleas.

Charged were:

Joshua Lee Helman, 29, of Indiana, charged June 20 by state police with theft Oct. 8 in White Township. The charge was waived for court at a preliminary hearing.

Lisa Jean Saxfield, 30, of Marion Center, charged June 27 by state police with theft and receiving stolen property in White Township. Charges were waived to court.

Matthew James Taylor, 32, of Indiana, charged July 7 by Homer City Borough police with simple assault and theft July 7. Charges were waived for court.

Bobbi Jo Dehner, 36, of Punxsutawney, charged July 20 with issuing a bad check May 10 in Center Township. A preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 24.

Patrick Wayne Palmer, 26, of Derry, charged July 26 by state police with forgery, theft, receiving stolen property and defiant trespass in White Township. Charges were waived for court.

Andrew John Stewart, 31, of Somerset, charged Aug. 7 by state police with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia April 24 in White Township. A preliminary hearing date has not been set.

Lee Aaron Walker, 21, of Indiana, charged Aug. 7 by state police with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia Jan. 6 in Center Township. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 1.

Jamie Lee Barnhart, 33, of Indiana, charged Aug. 8 by state police with theft March 25 in White Township. Also that day in separate charging documents, police charged her with retail theft and theft by deception April 14 in White Township; with retail theft April 14 in White Township; and attempted retail theft and criminal mischief April 25 in White Township. A preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 24.

Steven Warren Barnhart Jr., 30, of Homer City, charged Aug. 8 by state police in separate charging document with retail theft March 25 in White Township; retail theft, theft by deception and attempted theft April 14 in White Township; theft by deception April 14 in White Township; with attempted retail theft April 23 in White Township; and with retail theft April 23 in White Township. A preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 24.

Peggy Ann Ribblet, 43, of Pine Lane, Clarksburg, charged Aug. 20 by the Aultman Volunteer Fire Association with issuing a bad check March 15 at the fire hall in Center Township. A preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 24.

Robert Wayne Zack, 19, of Albert Drive, Homer City, charged Aug. 21 by state police with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and indecent assault in Buffington Township. A preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 5.

Daniel A. Burda, 32, of Heritage Run, Indiana, charged Aug. 21 by Walker & Walker Equipment of Armstrong Township with issuing a bad check May 19. A preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 24.

Wieslawa Fedinick, 56, of Millay Circle, Indiana, charged Aug. 22 by state police with false reports to law enforcement between June 18, 2010, and Aug. 10, 2012, at the state police station in White Township. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 1.

John Mitchell Rose, 18, of South 13th Street, Indiana, charged Aug. 22 by state police with possession of a small amount of marijuana and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia at 1:24 p.m. April 20 in the Indiana Mall parking lot in White Township. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 1.

Carrie Ann Aukerman, 19, and Lisa Ann Morton, 39, both of Maher Street, Blairsville, charged Aug. 22 by state police with theft and corruption of minors Aug. 11 at Walmart in White Township. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 1.

Jeremy Michael Clawson, 33, of Timberland, Graceton, charged Aug. 22 by state police with corruption of minors, permitting violation of a title and five summary violations associated with the state vehicle code after a crash June 14 at Graceton Village Road and Route 119 in Center Township. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 3.

Anna Marie King, 21, of Shryock Avenue, Indiana, charged Aug. 23 by state police with burglary, criminal trespass and criminal mischief July 12, and burglary, criminal trespass and theft July 14, both at Ironwood Grill in White Township. No preliminary hearing date has been set.

Mary C. Crissman, 42, of Kittanning, charged Aug. 27 by Luther Ford of Center Township with issuing a bad check June 20. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 1.

Joan Robin Sharik, 54, of Pine Hollow Road, Creekside, charged Aug. 27 by state police with DUI and one driving violation Aug. 25 along Route 286 in White Township. Her blood alcohol content measured 0.11 percent. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 3.

Steven James Consalvi, 46, of Gilbertsville, Montgomery County, charged Aug. 31 by state police with DUI and five summary violations Aug. 24 on Indiana Springs Road in White Township. His BAC measured 0.16 percent. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 22.

James Vernon Holley, 46, of Mulberry Lane, Graceton, charged Aug. 31 by state police with DUI and three summary violations Aug. 24 on West Pike in White Township. His BAC measured 0.11 percent. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 22.

Richard Michael Petrosky, 59, of Meadow Wood Road, Indiana, charged Aug. 31 by state police with DUI and two summary violations June 22 on Barclay Road in White Township. His BAC measured 0.19 percent. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 22.

Mary Jane Miller, 61, of Market Street, Blairsville, charged Aug. 31 by state police with theft and criminal trespass Aug. 31 at Walmart in White Township. Charges were waived for court.

Cloyd D. Fishel, 49, of Penn Street, Clymer, charged Aug. 31 by state police with conspiracy to receiving stolen property Aug. 16 at his residence. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 15.

Kyle Michael Wolf, 18, of Hollidaysburg, Blair County, charged Sept. 2 by Indiana University of Pennsylvania police with possession of a small amount of marijuana, underage drinking, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and bribery in official and political matters. Police reported that he offered $40 to the arresting officer. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 16.

Jacob Thomas Shannon, 21, of Coy Street, Homer City, charged Sept. 3 by state police with burglary, aggravated assault, simple assault, criminal mischief and harassment Sept. 3 at a residence along Pompano Lane in White Township. Charges were waived for court.

Jill Kristen Holley, 37, of Beech Street, Coral, charged Sept. 5 by state police with possession of a small amount of marijuana Aug. 30 along Main Street in Coral, Center Township. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 15.

Jeffrey William Frye, 41, of Industry, Beaver County, charged Sept. 5 by state police with DUI on Aug. 31 along Wayne Avenue in White Township. His BAC measured 0.11 percent. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 22.

Ian McKinley Sargent, 24, of Route 56, Homer City, charged Sept. 5 by state police with DUI, hit-and-run and two summary violations July 14 on Dilltown Heights Road, Buffington Township. His BAC measured 0.13 percent. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 15.
