Indiana woman charged with making false report
State police in Indiana have charged a 20-year-old woman who said she was stabbed by an unidentified attacker with filing a false report.
According to police, Jasmine P. Mock, of White Township, told police that on May 21, an unidentified man entered her home along Saltsburg Avenue and stabbed her with a kitchen knife.
Mock had been injured in the incident.
She was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center and later flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment.
However, police said that during the course of their investigation into the incident, Mock told them that her report was a hoax and that she had stabbed herself.
