BETHLEHEM (AP) — Police say a man slapped a police horse twice, once after he was warned, during Bethlehem’s Musikfest.

The Express-Times of Easton reported Monday that Curtis Gibbs, 22, of Allentown, was issued a disorderly conduct citation after the incident Saturday night.

State police and Bethlehem police horses are being used to patrol Musikfest. Police say the trooper at first warned Gibbs, then cited him after he slapped the horse a second time.

Musikfest began last weekend and continues through Sunday.
