OKLAHOMA -- A Westmoreland County man was killed in a head-on collision of two pickup trucks at 9:20 p.m. Thursday on Orr Avenue, Oklahoma Borough, state police at Kiski Valley reported Saturday night.

Robert Lytle, 51, of Avonmore, was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The Westmoreland County Coroner's office reported Lytle suffered injuries to his head, chest and abdomen.

He was not using a seat belt and was trapped in the wreckage of his truck. A westbound pickup driven by Chad Fravel, of Vandergrift, crossed the center of the road and hit Lytle's eastbound truck, according to troopers.

Fravel, 25, and a passenger in Lytle's truck, Paul Lytle, 35, of Pittsburgh, were flown by medical helicopters to trauma centers in Pittsburgh for treatment of injuries, according to investigators.

Paul Lytle was listed in good condition this morning at UPMC Presbyterian. Fravel's condition report was not available.
