Philadelphia fire victims identified
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia police Sunday identified a woman and child whose bodies were recovered from a burned apartment following a fire authorities called suspicious.
Firefighters found Atlanta Deveny, 35, and her son, Elijah Rosado, 11, in the apartment in the city’s Wissinoming neighborhood, after extinguishing the Saturday blaze, police said.
The cause of death had not been determined Sunday pending autopsy results, said police Officer Christine O’Brien.
Police listed the fire as suspicious. No suspects had been identified or arrested as of Sunday, O’Brien said.
