Indiana -- Burglary suspect jailed :: An Indiana man was lodged in the Indiana County Jail after being caught breaking into a house in the 1300 block of Church Street, Indiana Borough police reported.
Officers converged on the area about 12:35 p.m. Wednesday and chased Spencer Fratzke several blocks to Washington Street after a neighbor, Robert Schneider, of South 13th Street, reported seeing him crawl through the window of Nicholas Kutsch's residence at 1313 Church St.
Police knew Fratzke when they spotted him, court papers show. Online records show Fratzke has been arrested eight times since 2006 in Indiana County.
Fratzke exited a side door and ran after Officer Michael Rhoades pointed his revolver at him and commanded him to stop. Court documents show the chase ensued across Church Street, through properties along School Street and Klondyke Avenue, and ended when Detective Scott Schuller apprehended Fratzke at 1333 Washington St.
Fratzke, 25, admitted that he got into the house with intent to steal prescription drugs, investigators reported.
