Narcotics, DUI
Derek Myers, 28, of Homer City, was charged by Indiana Borough police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of heroin and three summary traffic violations following a traffic stop at 11:50 p.m. Jan. 5 on the 600 block of Church Street, police said.
Alcohol violations
Police at Indiana University of Pennsylvania reported the following citations:
Brody Pollock, 19, and Kane McCall, 18, for underage drinking and Zachary Smith, 21, for public drunkenness at 11:22 p.m. March 8 in Wallwork Hall. All are residents of Rimersburg, Clarion County.
Megan Kreutzberger, 19, of Harrison City, Westmoreland County, for underage drinking at 7:28 p.m. March 9 outside Delaney Hall.
Riva Walker, 18, of Washington, N.J.; and Stephen Deak, 19, and Caleb Cordell, 18, both of Erie, Erie County, for underage drinking at 11:38 p.m. March 9 in Stephenson Hall.
Theft
Miranda Weakland, 18, of Williamsburg, Blair County, was charged by IUP campus police with theft and criminal mischief at 9:12 p.m. Feb. 16 in the Northern Suites dormitory. Police gave no other details.
Disorderly conduct
IUP campus police have charged Taylor T. Holby, 21, of Nanty Glo, with tampering with fire apparatus, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
Police said Holby pulled a fire alarm at the university's Grant Street parking garage around 3:43 a.m. March 10.
WHITE TOWNSHIP
Theft
An 18-speed mountain bicycle belonging to Travis Adams, of Indiana, was stolen from 2140 Lazor St., Apt. 116, on Monday, according to state police in Indiana.
Theft from vehicles
Two laptop computers and a 14-inch subwoofer were stolen from vehicles belonging to Nabors Production Services and Oral Campbell, of Cambridge, Ohio, while parked at the Wayne Avenue Holiday Inn, according to state police in Indiana.
The thefts occurred between 6 p.m. Monday and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
Derry Township
Harassment
State police at Greensburg filed summary citations against David Quinn, 23, of Latrobe, and Jennifer Quinn, 26, of New Derry, charging them with harassment, alleging that they engaged in a domestic dispute at 4:43 p.m. March 11 at 107 21st St., New Derry. Citations were filed Wednesday at the Bradenville district court.
