EAST MAHONING TOWNSHIP

Burglary

State police in Indiana reported that someone broke into a home at 11030 Route 119 North around 9:30 a.m. Thursday but fled without taking anything.

Police said the burglar broke a side-door window, reached through to unlock the door, then entered. The alarm system activated and the burglar fled, according to police. The home belongs to a 37-year-old Marion Center woman who was not named.

Harassment

State police in Indiana reported that someone sent harassing text messages to Chad Frailey, 30, of Saltsburg, at a residence along Bosch Road around 7:48 p.m. Thursday. Police did not name the person who sent the messages.

CONEMAUGH TOWNSHIP

Disorderly conduct

A 17-year-old boy caused a disturbance by using vulgar language toward a principal around 8:45 a.m. Friday at Saltsburg High School, state police in Indiana reported. He was cited with disorderly conduct.

BURRELL TOWNSHIP

Disorderly conduct

A 15-year-old girl was cited with disorderly conduct after a fight with another student between 10:15 and 10:30 a.m. Friday at Blairsville High School, state police in Indiana reported.
