Criminal mischief

An unknown suspect spray painted “ethnic symbols and derogatory words” on various items in the 600 and 800 blocks of Croyland Avenue between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 a.m. Thursday, according to Indiana Borough police. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Tree damaged

Someone damaged a tree in the 300 block of South Sixth Street between 8 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday, borough police reported. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

White Township

Money stolen

A known suspect stole an unknown amount of money obtained from vending machine sales that was stored in a cabinet at Diamond Drug between March 27 and April 1, according to state police in Indiana.

The money was the property of AVI Food Systems, of Butler.

Police reported an investigation continues.

Eggs thrown

Someone threw several eggs at the Bradley Court home of Robert Coad Jr. then ran away at 8:50 p.m. Friday, state police reported. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (724) 357-1960.
