East Wheatfield Township

Theft

State police at Indiana said thieves entered a Turm Oil Inc. parking lot along the west side of Route 56, east of Wagner Road, Saturday or Sunday, and stole items from four parked water trucks.

Police said tires chains, a tow chain, batteries and battery cables valued at $1,835 were stolen.

The thieves also caused $90 damage to the trucks.

Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call the state police at (724) 357-1960.

Pine Township

Criminal mischief

State police at Indiana said it’s believed someone cut the spark plug wire and fuel lines on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle owned by Ruby Klingensmith, 42, of Strongstown.

Police said the criminal mischief happened Saturday along Country Meadows Lane.

Burrell Township

Retail theft

Amy Beth Mahkovic, 46, of Blairsville, was charged with retail theft by state police at Indiana.

Police charged her with stealing $23.10 worth of merchandise from the Walmart store at about 2:05 p.m. June 23.

Conemaugh Township

Computer trespass

State troopers from the Indiana station are investigating an incident in which someone unlawfully accessed and altered the Facebook account of Addam Fink, 26, of Clarksburg.

Police said the unlawful use of his account happened at 6:39 p.m. Saturday.

Center Township

Simple assault

Dale Hiltabidle, 35, of Coral, was assaulted at 6176 Route 119 South at 3:15 a.m. Sunday, according to state police at Indiana.

Police described the suspect in the assault only as a 29-year-old male from Coral.
