Man detained

Nicholas Martin, 21, of Oxford, Chester County, was held at the Indiana County Jail after being stopped by Indiana University of Pennsylvania campus police on suspicion of intoxication at 1:47 a.m. Wednesday, according to a news release.

Court records show no charges filed against Martin.

 

Burnside Township, Clearfield County

Burglary

Someone stole a Smith & Wesson SW40VE model pistol between May 27 and June 1 from David Michaels’ residence, 997 Patchinville Highway, state police at Punxsutawney reported today’

 

South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County

Man jailed

Jeff Fox, 48, of NuMine, was held at the Armstrong County Jail following a traffic stop at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday on Route 28 at Exit 18, where state police discovered Fox was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Troopers at Kittanning gave no details about the charges Fox faces in the warrant.

 

Rayburn Township, Armstrong County

Theft

Valerie Birch, of Kittanning, told state police that someone stole a Samsung cellphone while she left it unattended at 1:34 a.m. Sunday at the Broken Bottle tavern along Route 85.
