Burglary

A burglar entered the residence of Amber Plavi and Amanda Pitzerell, 432 First St., between 2:30 and 7:10 p.m. Saturday, according to state police at Indiana.

Police said a laptop, a necklace, cash and other items were stolen.

Pine Township

Theft

State police at Indiana did not identify the 37-year-old Homer City man who was the victim of a theft at 1455 Tipperary Road between July 22 and Friday.

Police said a 12-gauge double-barrel Ithaca shotgun was stolen.

South Mahoning Township

Agricultural vandalism

Someone put an unknown substance in a cornfield along Route 85 that caused part of the corn crop to die.

State police at Indiana said the vandalism was committed between June 18 and July 22.

Police said the victim was James Burkett, of Home.

East Mahoning Township

Theft

State police at Indiana are investigating the theft of items from a vehicle owned by West Central Equipment, of New Alexandria, Thursday night or Friday morning at 1912 Pollock Road.

Police said an iPad and a camera, also belonging to West Central Equipment, were stolen, as were credit cards taken from the wallet of John Anderson, of Marion Center.

Grant Township

Washers taken

Richard Stonebraker, of Marion Center, told state police at Indiana that someone stole two washing machines from his property at 1069 Julock Road.

Police said the machines were taken between July 18 and Thursday.
