Criminal mischief

A mailbox belonging to Ted Stancombe, 78, of 825 S. Fifth St., was damaged on Sunday or Monday, according to state police in Indiana.

 

CENTER TOWNSHIP

Scattering rubbish

Someone dumped a pile of scrap building materials on a piece of property off Smith Road sometime between 9 p.m. Oct. 22 and 7 a.m. Wednesday, according to state police in Indiana.

 

WEST WHEATFIELD TOWNSHIP

Theft

A Halloween-themed yard decoration was stolen from the home of Thomas Baker, 58, of 36 Oakwood Drive, on Oct. 19, according to state police in Indiana. Police said the decoration stood 12 feet high and is valued at $200.

 

RAYNE TOWNSHIP

Theft

A clothes dryer was stolen from a yard at the home of Joseph O’Brien, according to state police in Indiana. The dryer was taken sometime between Friday and Sunday, police said.

 

EAST MAHONING TOWNSHIP

Vehicle stolen

State police in Indiana are looking for information related to the theft of a Ford Focus that was taken on Oct. 18 or 19 from a lot across from the Marion Center Area High School. Police said the vehicle was later located in Green Township. Anyone with any information has been asked to call police at (724) 357-1960.
