Woman jailed

Justine Brown, 21, of Pittsburgh, was lodged at the Indiana County Jail after officers responded to a report of a disturbance at 1:53 a.m. Friday at Sheetz, 768 Wayne Ave., according to Indiana Borough police.

 

White Township

Man detained

State police reported that Casey Mohney, of Sagamore, Armstrong County, was incarcerated at the county jail after violating terms of a court-issued protection order held by Rebecca Gibbons at 3:48 p.m. Friday at an undisclosed location in the township.

 

Theft

State police reported Saturday that a 53-year-old woman from Indiana was caught trying to steal $679.30 worth of groceries from Martin’s Food Store at Regency Mall at 5:36 p.m. Oct. 24.

Police withheld the suspect’s name and reported that she will be charged in a criminal complaint at the Homer City district court.

 

Center Township

Littering

James Mack, of Homer City, told state police that someone scattered rubbish on his property in the township on Thursday.

Troopers did not disclose the location of the incident, but reported that a suspect is under investigation.

 

Young Township

Theft

State police reported that a suspect is under investigation for the reported theft of a metal parking sign on Friday from DJ Joe’s Bar in McIntyre.
