Retail theft

Barry Gene Groce Jr., 30, of Indiana, was charged with retail theft, according to state police in Indiana.

Police said Groce placed $316 worth of merchandise in a shopping cart and pushed it out of the Oakland Avenue Walmart without paying on Nov. 10. Police said they later arrested Groce at his residence.

BURRELL TOWNSHIP

Weapon possession

State police in Indiana said they cited a 14-year-old boy at Blairsville Middle School after it was found that he had brought a utility knife to school.

Police said the incident occurred on Tuesday.

DERRY TOWNSHIP, WESTMORELAND COUNTY

Harassment

Johnathan Rosario, 21, and Thomas Furin, 36, both of Derry, were charged with harassment after getting into a physical altercation Nov. 5 at 933 W. Fourth Ave., according to state police at Greensburg.
