Burglary

John Wincek, of East Elm Street, told Homer City police someone entered his garage Sunday or Monday and stole tools and equipment valued at $1,500.

Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to call Homer City police at (724) 479-9190.

 

Cherryhill Township

Burglary

State police at Indiana are investigating a burglary at Good News Auto Center along Route 422.

Police said someone kicked out a window to enter the garage between Jan. 6 and 8.

The burglar rifled through two filing cabinets, according to police.

 

White Township

Criminal mischief

State police at Indiana are investigating a criminal mischief incident Tuesday in the parking lot of the Indiana Mall.

Police suspect someone put a foreign substance in the gas tank of a vehicle belonging to Jamie Anthony, of Homer City.

 

Pine Township

Burglary

On Jan. 8 or 9, burglars broke into Matthew Polenik’s service station at 10890 Route 553.

A 32-inch Samsung flat screen television was stolen, police said.

 

Buffington Township

Burglary

State police at Indiana said two burglars entered Cameron Lumber, 2769 Cameron Road, Jan. 8 or 9.

Police said the intruders stole about $530 worth of property, including a television and a Keurig coffee maker.

 

East Wheatfield Township

Theft

Tracy Wilcox, of Seward, told state police at Indiana that money and prescription medicine were taken from her residence in Robindale Heights around 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
