Theft

Someone stole something from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Water Street sometime between 4 p.m. Wednesday and 9:15 a.m. Thursday, according to borough police. Police did not say what was taken.

WHITE TOWNSHIP

Theft

A package containing a textbook belonging to Joel Brown, of Indiana, was taken from a mailbox sometime between 9 a.m. Monday and 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to state police in Indiana.

BURRELL TOWNSHIP

Criminal mischief

State police in Indiana said they have cited Michael Duffey, 27, of Blairsville, with criminal mischief. Police said Duffey kicked in a door at the home of Celeste Steeves, 30, early this morning.

UNITY TOWNSHIP, WESTMORELAND COUNTY

Theft

A 10-foot split ramp, 40 moving pads and two dollies were stolen from a McNaughton Bros. Inc. truck parked at the company’s moving and storage facility along Main Drive, according to state police in Greensburg.

Police said the theft occurred sometime between 4:30 p.m. Feb. 17 and 7:15 a.m. Feb. 20.
