Simple assault

State police in Indiana said they are investigating an incident that reportedly occurred April 3 at the Barnesboro American Legion. Police said a 45-year-old Commodore woman reported that she and a 45-year-old man, also of Commodore, had been in an argument at the social club. Following the argument, the woman said, she followed the man to his car and asked him to drive her home.

The man then shoved her, causing her to fall down. She then got up and stood in front of the man’s vehicle to prevent him leaving without her, but he drove off anyway.
