MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP

Drug possession

State police in Indiana said they seized more than 300 bags of heroin from a location along Arcadia Road on Wednesday morning. Police provided no other details, but said an investigation is continuing.

BURRELL TOWNSHIP

Theft

A 10-foot aluminum brake and a 16-foot aluminum sheet belonging to Melvin Byler, 41, of Ohio, were stolen from a construction site along Route 22 sometime between Friday and Monday, according to state police in Indiana. Police said a Taco Bell restaurant is being erected at the site.

GREEN TOWNSHIP

Liquor law violation

The Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement said it cited the Brass Monkey Bar & Grille, 4242 Starford Road, for serving alcohol between 2 and 7 a.m. The bureau said the violation occurred on March 15.

PINE TOWNSHIP

Liquor law violation

The Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement said it cited the Jokers Wild tavern, 8620 Route 553, for allowing liquor consumption off the premises. The bureau said the violation occurred on April 15.
