White Township

Burglary

State police reported an intruder entered Heinle Electric along Beck Road on May 2 and stole an unspecified amount of copper wire.

Trespassing

Betty Brown, 39, of Aultman, entered Walmart at SouthTowne Plaza at 4:25 p.m. Thursday, after having signed papers on March 22 acknowledging that she was prohibited from entering the Walmart property, state police at Indiana reported.

Troopers charged Brown on Friday with defiant trespass and a vehicle code violation.

Washington Township

Animal cruelty

A 3-year-old black Lab-rador retriever owned by Holly Uptegraph, of 522 Pine Hollow Road, near Creekside, returned home at 12:45 p.m. Thursday with injuries to its neck, state police reported.

Troopers reported the dog was taken to a veterinary hospital and is expected to recover.

Green Township

Theft

James Maguire, of Indiana, told state police that $2,100 worth of belongings were stolen from a house he owns at 72 Wise Lane between Nov. 1 and April 20.

Troopers gave no description of the missing goods.

Derry Township, Westmoreland County

Burglary

State police reported someone broke into a garage owned by Gregory Hunter, of 926 Wood St., and stole six extension cords between May 10 and Tuesday.
