Huffing

Ernest E. McCleary III, 18, of Blairsville, has been charged with “huffing” noxious substances on a school bus while en route to school, according to state police in Indiana. Police said the incident occurred between 9:30 and 10 a.m. May 23 on Route 119. Police said a 17-year-old boy also was observed inhaling the substances.

Prison contraband

State police in Indiana said they have charged a couple with bringing contraband to SCI Pine Grove. According to police, Natasha Nichole Breiding, 23, of Dallas, W.Va., and her husband, Edward Joseph Breiding, 23, drove to the prison Friday morning. Upon searching the vehicle and the couple, a loaded pistol, pills and marijuana were found, according to police.

Edward Breiding is charged with possession of contraband, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of weapons or implements of escape. Natasha Breiding is charged with possession of contraband, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of weapons or implements of escape.

Harassment

Michael Edward Grissom, 35, of McIntyre, has been cited for harassment, according to state police in Indiana. Police said Grissom struck Jeffrey L. Helgert during an incident May 28 at 2170 McIntyre Road.
