Narcotics charges

Montay Green, 21, of Pittsburgh, was charged Monday by Indiana Borough police with a felony count of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, misdemeanor counts of possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, and four summary traffic offenses stemming from a traffic stop at 1:55 a.m. March 17 in the 900 block of Philadelphia Street.

Investigators say they found almost 8 ounces of marijuana in Green’s possession.

Borough police reported that District Judge Guy Haberl of Indiana issued a warrant for Green’s arrest.

 

Theft

Operators of H.B. Culpeppers bar, 653 Philadelphia St., reported to Indiana Borough police that someone entered the building between 5 and 6 a.m. June 13 and stole about $1,000.

White Township

Burglary

Someone entered an apartment at The Grove housing development at 8:40 p.m. June 17 and stole a television and an Xbox 360 game set belonging to Phillip Ciparik and Jonathan Holz, state police at Indiana reported.

 

Shoplifting

Glenn Parmer, 53, of Indiana, was cited by state police on Monday with a summary count of retail theft.

Troopers at Indiana reported that Parmer stole merchandise valued at $7.79 at 12:56 p.m. Saturday at Martin’s Food Store in Regency Mall.

East Wheatfield Township

Burglary

State police reported that someone broke into a house owned by Larry Stinson,

of Seward, at an unspecified location in the township, and stole copper pipes from

the basement between Saturday and Monday.

Center Township

Scattering rubbish

Someone dumped trash between midnight and 8 a.m. Saturday on land along Plugtown Lane, state police at Indiana reported.

Troopers reported the investigation continues.

Henderson Township, Jefferson County

Mischief

Somebody slashed a tire on a 621 Case Loader between 6 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday at the D&F Lumber and Logging Co. along Pike Road, state police at Punxsutawney reported.

Troopers estimated the damage at $2,200. The vehicle is owned by Vallies Logging, of Punxsutawney.
