Four people were injured — one fatally — in a Wednesday morning traffic accident involving a shuttle bus carrying elderly women on Ben Franklin Road in White Township.

According to state police in Indiana, Sandra Livingston, 70, was thrown from the SeniorLIFE shuttle bus when it collided with a car at the Shelly Drive intersection.

Livingston was flown to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, where she was later pronounced dead of her injuries, police said. The three others were taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center and Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown for treatment.
