Three charged with homicide following Kittanning fight
KITTANNING — State police at Kittanning have now charged three men with homicide following a fight outside a bar along Montieth Street, Kittanning, at about 1:35 a.m. Sunday.
Police said Dennis Rosenberger, 27, of Kittanning, was responsible for rendering James Sullivan, 39, of Chicora, unconscious by hitting Sullivan in the head.
Rosenberger was charged with aggravated assault and placed in the Armstrong County Jail.
Police said that after Sullivan collapsed to the ground from the punch, three other men either kicked or jumped on Sullivan while he was motionless.
The trauma to Sullivan’s chest and abdomen caused his death, police said.
Police identified the men who attacked the unconscious victim as Otilio Cosme, 43, and Anthony Bove, 18, both of Ford City, and Keith Brison, 32, of Kittanning.
Police said those three men were charged with homicide, aggravated and simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.
They were placed in the Armstrong County Jail without bond, according to police.
