YOUNGVILLE (AP) — Three men have been charged with vandalizing their former high school and causing at least $50,000 in damage, a figure that’s expected to rise as officials tally the damage.

State police Trooper Todd Koebley said the suspects broke into Youngsville High School early Sunday and emptied several fire extinguishers in the gymnasium, cafeteria, computer lab, hallways and principal’s office. Police said they also spray-painted crude pictures and the years they graduated on refrigerators, lockers, computer screens, chalkboards, doors, tables and walls.

The Erie Times-News reported that Duston Miller, 19, of Youngsville; Taylor Keys, 18, of Grand Valley; and Derek Gifford, 20, of Greensburg; face 11 felony counts each. They were lodged in Warren County Jail.
