WATERLINE BREAK

Route 217, where it goes under the railroad crossing near Maple Avenue in Blairsville, was closed to traffic after an underground waterline owned by the Blairsville Municipal Authority broke shortly after 10 a.m. Friday and buckled the pavement. The damaged section of street was repaved and reopened to traffic about 11 p.m. Friday, according to Blairsville police.
