A sport utility vehicle overturned on Parkwood Road near Route 422 in Armstrong Township this morning after freezing rain made some roads treacherous across the county.

The Indiana Fire Department and Citizens’ Ambulance were dispatched.

The inclement weather prompted several Indiana County schools to close and others to delay opening. (Tom Peel/Gazette photo)
