Easter musical  :: ELDERTON -- The choir and drama cast of the Elderton Presbyterian Church, 115 N. Main St., Elderton, will present "The Borrowed Tomb," an Easter musical, at 7:30 p.m. today and Sunday.

"The Borrowed Tomb" tells the story of Christ's death and resurrection from the perspective of two members of the Sanhedrin -- Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea. The audience will witness their struggle of faith and belief as they interact with each other, members of the Sanhedrin, Mary Magdalene and Jesus.

What did it really mean to be a member of the Sanhedrin with both religious and political power? Who were these men and how did they become dramatically involved in the life and death of Christ? Acts of faith and belief shed light on their lives, as the events that surround Christ's death and resurrection unfold.

A nursery will be provided and a free-will offering will be taken to benefit the choir and drama fund. For more information, call the church office at (724) 354-3117.
