TNA Entertainment’s Impact Wresting will bring big-name stars to Indiana with a live show set for April 25 to be televised on Spike TV.
Wrestler Matt Morgan made an appearance Wednesday at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Center with other community members to promote the show and presented Indiana Mayor George E. Hood with a replica edition of the TNA World Heavyweight Championship belt.
“I’m delighted to welcome TNA Impact Wrestling to Indiana,” said Hood in a news release.
“An event of this magnitude is a great boost for the community.”
In addition to appearing with Hood, Morgan joined Dr. Ralph May, clinical director of the Community Guidance Center, to present tickets for distribution to clients as part of a community outreach program.
The event will be televised at 8 p.m., with the second part of the show to be taped to air May 2 at 8 p.m.
“We strive to bring quality entertainment to the venue that the community responds to, and to be a part of TNA’s first Spike TV-televised tour is tremendous for us,” James Grafstrom, general manager of Global Spectrum, said in a release. “We look forward to hosting Hulk Hogan, Sting, TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray and the rest of the TNA family next month.”
The show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at the KCAC box office, online at www.comcastix.com or by phone at (800) 298-4200.
