8 p.m. — “Mysteries at the Museum.” Don Wildman surveys an antique firetruck that’s linked to one of the nation’s weirdest industrial disasters. Travel Channel

8:30 p.m. — “Fame.” An updated version of the 1980 movie that followed aspiring high school students as they pursued their dreams of becoming big stars. Kay Panabaker, Naturi Naugh-ton. ABC Family

9 p.m. — “American Greed.” A fraud ring based in Sacramento, Calif., orchestrates an elaborate scheme to rob banks across the country. CNBC
