The Indiana Midday and Evening Rotary clubs and the Rotary District 7280 will sponsor a free developmental and autism screening for children ages birth to 5 on April 25 and 30 through Lifesteps’ Child Check Program.
The open screening will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Christian Playday in Grace United Methodist Church.
A Lifesteps’ Child Check developmental and autism screening is a brief assessment using games and activities to determine a child’s current level of development.
Screenings take approximately 30 minutes.
Appointments are recommended. Child Check developmental specialists will offer families education to better understand how they can help their children reach developmental milestones. Each screened child will be invited to participate in craft activities.
These events in Indiana are a few of several that will be held this spring and summer in Butler, Armstrong and Indiana counties sponsored through the support from the local Rotary clubs, Rotary District 7281 and other businesses and funders.
