The Aultman Watershed Association for Restoring the Environment (AWARE) has been awarded a $500 grant from the Dominion Foundation. The organization plans to implement a trail construction project.

The Dominion Foundation, in partnership with the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, has awarded $33,000 in grants to area nonprofits to help protect and improve Pennsylvania waterways. Grants were presented at the ninth annual Watershed Mini-Grants Luncheon/Workshop to 30 community-based groups.

The funding for the awards comes from the Dominion Foundation, which is dedicated to the economic, physical and social health of the communities served by Dominion companies.
