May 03, 2013 10:50 AM

ARIN will offer a workshop at the ARIN central office, 2895 West Pike, White Township, on May 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. for parents of students with a disability to provide an introduction to the secondary transition planning process, focusing on a new website designed to be a central information hub for students and their families navigating the transition from secondary education to adult life. This will include an opportunity for hands-on exploration using computers in ARIN’s lab.

The workshop is free and open to parents of any student with a disability. However, due to space limitations, registration is limited to the first 20 participants. Parents wishing to attend the workshop should register with Danielle Patterson by May 10 by contacting her at (724) 463-5300, ext. 1240, or at dpatterson@iu28.org. Those with questions may contact Larry McCluskey, ARIN consultant for secondary transition, at (724) 463-5300, ext. 1212, or lmccluskey@iu28.org.
