Farmers market to run through the summer
June 09, 2013 2:50 AM

The downtown Blairsville farmers market will be held every Friday in the summer from 4 to 6 p.m. in the old Bi-Lo parking lot at the corner of East Market and North Morrow streets.

There is no charge for setting up a site at the farmers market.

Organizers said they would like to see anyone who grows locally to be there. This includes vendors who make homemade candles, homemade soaps; people who package their own jams, jellies and salsa; people who have their own beehives and package honey; those who do woodworking.

To set up a booth or for more information, call Connie Constantino at (724) 459-0216 or at cic2201@verizon. net. This project in under the direction of the Blairsville Community Development Authority.
