Children at Calvary Presbyterian Church recently collected change in handcrafted banks to support their Vacation Bible School mission project. Their goal was to raise money to help Calvary’s sister congregation in Rwanda purchase cows and build a new church. Pictured with some of the group’s banks in front of the church’s “Mission: Rwanda” quilt are, all from Indiana: Nate Ebeling, son of Eric and Andrea Ebeling; Maizie Baunoch, daughter of Joe and Dina Baunoch; VBS teen volunteer Amy Varner, daughter of Rob and Wendy Varner; Adelay Cooney, daughter of Rob Cooney and Stephanie Smith-Cooney; and Brenna Nutter, daughter of Andrew and Susan Nutter.
