The Indiana 10-and-under all-stars crushed Marion Center, 11-1, in four innings on Thursday to advance in the District 7 Little League tournament at Kovalchick Field.

Danny Williams and Austin Homer had two hits apiece for Indiana. Homer drove in four runs. Pitcher Bryce Myers threw all four innings, allowed two hits, struck out eight and walked only one.

Mike Badzik went 2-for-2 for Marion Center and scored his team’s only run.

Indiana plays Shannock Valley in an elimination-round game on Saturday, at 6 p.m., at Kovalchick Field.

Indiana beat Shannock Valley 12-2 in a first-round game last week.

Indiana’s only loss so far in the double-elimination tournament came Tuesday when it lost to New Bethlehem, 8-7. Should Indiana beat Shannock Valley on Saturday, it could take on New Bethlehem in the finals.
