Joseph P. Yackuboskey and Arlene J. (McClelland) Yackuboskey recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They were married June 23, 1973, at the old St. Bernard’s of Clairvaux Catholic Church by Father Paul Fitzmaurice.
Joe worked for more than 27 years for R&P Coal Company/Consol and now works at the Indiana County Conservation District as the Resource Conservation Technician. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Army and served an 18-month tour in Vietnam.
Arlene was a homemaker for many years and now has worked at CVS Pharmacy for more than 15 years.
The couple took at weeklong vacation to Camper’s Paradise near Cook Forest.
They have three children: Jude, of Indiana; Jesse, of Homer City; and Christina (Yackuboskey) Putt, of Indiana. They also love spending time with their seven grandchildren.
