• A roast beef and holupki dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Christ Our Savior Orthodox Church, 6788 Tanoma Road, Rayne Township. • “Boating Leaves No Ripples” will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at Yellow Creek State Park’s boat rental, off Route 422 east of Penn Run. • A farmers market will be held from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Strongstown Homecoming and Historical Society, 14729 Route 422, Strongstown. “Forever Plaid” will be performed by the Keystone Repertory Theater at 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Indiana Theater, Philadelphia Street. The “Plaids” are a guaranteed smash, with a program of beloved songs and delightful patter that keep audiences rolling in the aisles when they’re not humming along to some of the great nostalgic pop hits of the ’50s.
