Four tons of railroad stockpile stolen

State police in Punxsutawney are looking for the person who stole 4 tons of railroad track accessories from a stockpile in Burnside Township, Clearfield County.

According to police, the thief took base bars, tie plates and track anchors belonging to R.J. Corman Railroad Group sometime between 5 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday. The loss was estimated at $10,000.

Police said the thief may have been driving a green sedan, possibly a Chrysler, or a gray or black Ford F150 pickup truck.
