The Indiana Junior Women’s Civic Club has announced Madison Mohney as the April Girl of the Month.

Madison is the daughter of Max and Laura Mohney, of Indiana.

She is a member of National Honor Society, is an All-American Cheerleader, received the Outstanding Attorney Award at the Pitt Mock Trial competition, is a dance team co-captain, a four-time varsity letter winner, and is a Key Club executive board member.

In addition, she is an activity aide at the Communities at Indian Haven, a volunteer in Children’s Ministry at Sovereign Grace Church and a teacher assistant at Sue Hewitt’s Dance Studio, is involved with Dancers With Heart and Sole and Aid in Spirit Day, organized a charity party to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, is a chair in raising money for the Leukemia Foundation and a Mini-Thon participant.

Madison will be attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, and plans to continue on to graduate school to become a certified registered nurse anesthetist.
