MECHANICSBURG (AP) — A colonel at the U.S. Army War College in central Pennsylvania has been held for trial on charges that he had child pornography on his computer.

Col. Robert J. Rice, 55, had faced 120 counts of possession of child pornography that were filed last month. Prosecutors added 10 more charges during a preliminary hearing in Cumberland County Court on Monday and Rice was ordered held for court on all counts.

PennLive.com reported that Rice’s attorney, Joseph Caraciolo, said his client’s wife could have put the images on his computer when she installed monitoring software. Authorities say she saw the images on the computer and alerted police.

Rice is scheduled to be arraigned in July.
