Gilgal wins two in softball

Gilgal Presbyterian scored lopsided victories in two Indiana County Church League softball games Monday evening, defeating Shelocta Presbyterian, 11-3, and Grace Methodist 1, 12-4.

Bill Gasior and Ken Campbell had two hits and three RBIs each in the first game. Aaron Black, Ben Harley and Bobb Patterson added two hits each, and Black drove in two runs.

Jeff Cribbs was the winning pitcher.

Jerry Brewer and Mike Henry had two hits each for Shelocta Presbyterian.

Campbell and Scott Bowman paced Gilgal in the nightcap, each with 3-for-4 performances. Patterson and Dave Rupert each had two hits and four RBIs. Aaron Black and Jason Johnston added two hits each, including a double by Johnston.

Cribbs was again the winning pitcher.

Ken Anderson and Kevin Stiffler pounded out four hits each for Grace 1.
